UK Guidelines – Issue 5

£60.00

Please note “The document entitled The Assessment of Floor Slip Resistance UK Slip Resistance Group Guidelines” is currently being revised, in light of the recently published BS EN 16165:2021. The new version is expected in Q2 2023.  Should you purchase a copy of the current guidelines between now and then, the updated version will be made available to you free of charge, on proof of purchase.

A key objective of the UKSRG is the compilation, publication and distribution of guidelines concerning the recommended procedure for the assessment of the slip resistance of flooring materials.

Issue 5 of the Guidelines was published in October 2016 and is available for Download now.

Improvements to Issue 5 include amendments to improve the reliability of the Pendulum slip resistance assessment procedure, including modifications to the slider verification process.

Although each of the popular Pendulum types are essentially equivalent in their operation, separate sections detail the recommended operating procedures for each Pendulum type, and advice is given concerning the selection and specification of floor surface materials.
