On the 16th and 17th June 2017, several members of the UKSRG attended the Slips, Trips and Falls conference at the prestigious MaRS Complex in central Toronto. Delegates came from several countries around the world to listen to and share the latest developments and research and promote thought-leadership in this key area of safety. Much of the content built on the work the UKSRG conference held in London in October 2016.

In 2016, the UKSRG hosted a conference to promote a better understanding of slip resistance. The premise was simple; bring together experts in pedestrian safety, provide a platform for a stream of informative presentations, and attract an audience that would benefit from a better understanding of the science.
